DRAMA SAMPLER CAMPS
Ages 6 - 13
A fun and exciting camp that enhances acting skills as students are introduced to comedy, improvisation, and stage acting, through telling jokes, character study; physical comedy; and making things (that sometimes aren’t there) believable for the audience. An informal camp performance will be held the on the last day of camp during the last hour. High energy and lots of fun! Campers need to bring a filled water bottle and a light snack. MOVIE CAMPS
Ages 7 - 14


ACT OUT A MOVIE - ACTING FOR FILM
Learn the different acting techniques used in movies and animations as you re-recreate characters from different movie genres such as: "The Wizard of Oz," "Shrek," and "Pirates of the Carribean."We will watch several movies during the week and then act out scenes from them. We will film the recreations of our favorite scenes and campers will receive a DVD mailed to them after camp ends.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! - MOVIEMAKING CAMP
Discover the many possibilities of filmmaking... from both sides of the camera! Try your hand at directing, writing and acting as you create a short film in varying styles, examining all aspects of the process along the way. We’ll explore different film genres, and use our research and creativity to recreate their styles in our short film. Discover the skills you need to make great films, and/or appear in them! Campers will receive an edited DVD mailed to them after camp ends. Students must bring a sack lunch, snacks and sunscreen. Water will be provided.

CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATORS CAMP
Ages 8 - 13
Be a super sleuth as you explore the world of forensic science. How do modern day detectives put the pieces of a crime scene puzzle together? Solve your own crime scene and figure out not just "whodunnit," but how they did it.

Students are split into teams, and armed with their Crime Scene Investigator badges and notebooks will have fun uncovering clues as they learn the basics of crime scene investigation.  Investigators will investigate a mock crime scene to search for clues and leads to help them solve the crime as they develop their ability to use logic and apply strategies to problem solving, develop analytical and reasoning skills, and form logical explanations about the cause and effect relationship in an investigation.

COMMERCIAL & FILM BOOTCAMP
Ages 7 - 13
If your child dreams of being on TV and in movies this camp is for them! Young actors will learn to perform and audition for the camera as we all as:
• Acting terms and techniques
• On-camera scene study
• Improv games
• Memory skills
• Resume and headshot development
In addition to registration fees paid to the recreation departments, a $15 materials fee is payable to the camp on the first day to cover a class DVD that will be mailed to the student a week after the class and a handbook.
